Note:
Here are some tips from Will Harrison, the game developer, for the difficult parts:

- "Always shoot repeatedly and fast (especially with the Zappers).
- When you dodge, you can double tap the up key and it will always work.
- Save up HV ammo for the 2 lower levels (purple and dark areas).
- Don't waste EX ammo on Zappers (you'll likely miss and waste the few EX ammo there is).
- When shooting Zappers, wait till they get to their highest point and hit them twice.
- Use HV ammo on Zappers if you have any (you'll destroy them in 2 hits).
- If you can't beat a Zapper coming after you, walk out of the screen (if you can) and come back.
- EX ammo is useful if you're being attacked from both sides and you want to quickly dispose of one or both enemies."

If you follow these tips you should be able to clear the game in 3 or 4 tries :).

Review:
Escape from Helltowers is another cool shooting adventure game. The 3D graphics are nice. However gameplay is rather limited and moves are slow. But whatever! This game worth being played.

Review: Platform Racing 2 is an awesome multiplayer game created by Jacob Grahn (you can find the first section on Jacob's website). In this game you can customize your character and even create your own levels. The only negative point is about guys in chat room always talking about sex and racism... its pretty annoying. Just concentrated on the game.

Description: Street Fighter online game is a classic remake of the greatest fighting game of all the time, Street Fighter, in which the players struggle with combatants from around the world, each with his or her own special moves, against one another.
Capcom, a leading Japanese international developer released the first game in the series in August 1987. An American-produced live-action film, inspired from the game and simply titled Street Fighter, was also released in 1994, starring Jean-Claude Van Damme as Guile in the film's lead.

In this online version you play as RYU, fighting against the strong but not invincible Sagat.

Review: I love this game. Battles are rather hard but graphics remind me the eighties' design. Most people do think this version sucks because of the simplistic nature of this game, but this is what I prefer! This game had NO strategy. You basically pressed a button quickly hoping you would hit the opponent. An old game, as we like them :)

Review: With handsome looking tracks and a very flowing handiness 3D Rally Racing is a game very fun to play. To unlock and enjoy the other 3 unique tracks you must place first on each track (what is a real pity since races are very hard).

I would like to share with you an article published on the MakeUseOf website which offers a nice summing-up of Pictogame, highlighting perfectly its goals and services. I think this article could enable you to learn more about our website. Let's check out this presentation.

Pictogame can be divided in 3 important points according to them:

Make game: Put your head in a game and check out how you will look as a secret agent with a semi-automatic rifle in your hands. Then show your Pictogame to all your friends by posting your creations on your blog, or on your MySpace profile.

Play Games: Find out other Flash games, uploaded each day by the users of the community. The RSS feed allows you to keep up-to-date with every game additions.

Last week our sales director, David Thomas, launched his restaurant, La Lucha Libre, which is located at the heart of Paris. For the occasion, the entire firm was invited to have a meal there (see all pictures on Facebook.

After kilos of nachos swallowed and other Spanish specialties, we were asked to get off in the cellar... and fight each other in wrestling matches!

The fights were painful and unkind. Litres of sweat were burned to try to become the number 1 of the game.

Review:
Penguin diner’s a short funny game. The graphics are nice. Customers’ expressions change when they feel annoyed which make you move faster and faster and enhance your stress.

Penguin diner is a typical time management game based upon being an employee in a shop or restaurant. This game is very similar to Jane's hotel (see review posted few days ago) or Family restaurant. Personally among these time management games, Penguin diner is my favourite. Perhaps because of this lovely penguin character so cute.

Simple gaming, simple fun and most of all, simple packaging applied to the games of today?

A lot of gamers today miss the sheer simplicity of the Atari 2600 games...
and The -Minus World knows it. That's why they take an interesting look at how today's games might have been represented by yesterday's artists with Atari Modern Classics.

Thereby the biggest games of now fell into the hands of a 2600-era artist. They've created retro covers in authentic pixels and simple block graphics for Halo 3, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Portal, Resident Evil 5, GTA IV, No More Heroes, COD4 and God of War 3, and BioShock. All the biggest games have been represented.

Uncluttered composition and short descriptive text come together to create a simple and vintage game packaging.

Kill your enemy and hide yourself behind obstacles.

Description:

Your objective in this action shooting game is to kill your enemy in each level to score maximum points.To clear a stage, you must stay alive by hiding yourself behind moving obstacles. Don't shoot these obstacles otherwise your own bullets will rebound and decrease your health. To increase your health, shoot all Health bonus. Shoot Power bonus to increase your Speed. Shoot Bullet Bonus for more speed and accuracy of your bullets.

Review:
Game with death is one of my favourite game. The game is not so difficult. Just find the strategy to shoot your enemy without touching moving obstacles.

PS: Be careful... your enemy is more powerful and always get two life!

Multiplayer Asteroids

Pilot a ship and rack up more kills than deaths!

Description:
Multiplayer Asteroids is a small space shooter classic game where you have to show your friends who's the boss in space! The game's creator is Chris Benjaminsen. He've created too the cute game Minesweeper.

Multiplayer Asteroids combines the classic Asteroids gameplay with an unique multiplayer system. The game can support plenty of players, and according to Chris Benjaminsen, it once hosted a 52 players match!

Each player pilots a ship with the objective to collect more kills than deaths. The game can be different depending on how many players they are: With three or four players there's a little more strategy involved than when there's 10 players. You can also chat with the players.

Ctrl: activate a power up

Reviews:
The movements in this game are good, but hard to master. I couldn't manage to survive more than a few minutes in this game, but luckily, restarting is fast and easy. And what about you?

A boyscout on a pink BMX needs your help to explore the terrain and find the exit.

Description: Race to the end of this side-scrolling dirt bike game. Make huge jumps and performe nice stunts. But be careful, and cautious... If you fall and break your neck, you will have to restart the level. In some levels you will need a key to open the exit.

Press SHIFT KEY to jump/accelerate
UP ARROW KEY to go forward

Review:
Alex Trax features 6 Traxs in 3 amazing and different themes (the ice theme is my favorite). Don't break your neck. Don't forget to collect the time bonuses if you want to get a good score.

Jane's Hotel is easy at the beginning, but gets more and more complex as you keep on playing. Entertaining and accessible, Jane's Hotel provides you with a good few hours of fun.

Save the world from the santanic Commandante Maus!

Review: The song, called War Ensamble from Slayer adds intensity to this exciting game. Be wakeful and run as fast as you can... it's a very very hard action game. Personally I've never reached level 2. I get to the bridge and die. Is it the same thing for you?

BR's Climate Chaos

The Super Flash Bros present a new 3D adventure: BR's Climate Chaos.

Description: The main character is Blue Rabbit equipped with a digital camera, undertakes a quest to help inhabitants of the various islands to solve their problems with the local weather. Characters all speak a foreign language that you will have to decode through icons that pop up in speech bubbles. An original concept for this funny game.

Instructions: Arrow keys (or W, A, S, D) to move, mouse to click on people or items.

Review: BR's Climate Chaos is a beautiful game. The cut scenes and the characters are very funny. It's a game close to perfection: story, music, graphics, design... everything is great!

Puzzle Freak

Try to be the best puzzle freak of the planet and show the world just how smart you are!

Description: Puzzle Freak is funny game which involves dice, mini-games and... freaks! Your aim is to get to the final square, making twice your way around the board completing puzzles to up your IQ.

For each turn, when you roll the die, you will have to play a mini game. If you solve a game, you get another turn (up to three times). If you lose, you stay where you are. Up to four players can play (computer or human).

Each mini game has a different time limit depending on how difficult it is. Making a mistake in the game results in a time deduction. Each game can also be reset if you find yourself in trouble. Some games are easier than others but they are all very addictive.

The winner is the person with the highest IQ after reaching the finish line.

Instructions: Click on the dice to roll it. Use your Left Mouse Button Click to enjoy the mini games.

Review: Puzzle Freak is a mix between Monopoly and Mario Party games. The mini games are what make this game very addictive. Graphics are very amazing, with funny characters. Puzzle Freak is a great game, especially with friends.

Red Beard On Gold hunt

Description: Red Beard is a cute small pirate on a ""on gold hunt"" whose aim is to collect all the colored beads and reach the exit. Actually the blobs are kinds of keys which activate the matching special platforms you need to jump on. At the beginning a notice indicates you how many of each blobs you need to get.

Instructions: Arrow keys for left, right, scroll viewing area up and down, Space to jump (keep holding direction).

Review: This funny game is rather simple at the beginning but gets more difficult after. You will be required to use your brain to proceed and quite a bit of skill to make the jumps from one stair to the other. Keep jumping and do your best to reach your goal!

The best part of this game is that it saves your progress so you can begin to play it from where you left off the last time.

PS: Red can only survive under water for a short time - but he can often jump above the surface to get a much needed breath of fresh air.

Bow man 2

Bow man 2 is shooting game based on Stick-man character. Actually Stick-man is a very simple drawing which represents a human character. You can find it in a lot of other games such as Electricman 2 HS, Super Crazy Guitar Mania 2 or Stick Man Madness 2.

In Bow man 2, Stick-man is an archer who must master the art of shooting with a bow and arrow. You and an opponent shoot toward each other with your tools. At the beginning all your shoots are guessed. You can't aim at your oppenent since you don't see him on the screen. You figure out exactly how you need to aim in order to win. Shoot your enemy to make his health decrease. Head shoot will give more damage for your enemy.

You only need your mouse to play this game. Click and point to this stick-man to make your row go away. You can watch your angle and your power to count the right angle and power in the next trial. The distance between the two players is never the same, so angle/power combination won’t work every time.

Bow man 2 features a several modes such as "Computer", "Human", "Practice", and "Bird Hunting".

Instructions
Click and drag your left mouse button to determine the angle and how much force to use when pulling back. Release the mouse button to send the arrow when you're ready to shoot.

Another game very similar to Bow man 2 exists; the principle is almost the same but the graphics are totaly different: it's The Archer. A very nice game... I recommend it too but I think that I prefer Bow man 2. And you, which one do you prefer?

GemCraft

GemCraft is a creative tower defense game in which evil hordes of invading monsters follow a set path with the goal of getting from their base to yours. Your aim is to set up defenses along the way to stop them from achieving that. Create and combine magic gems, put them into your towers and banish the monsters back to hell.

Actually, GemCraft has the same old story than other tower defense games such as Defender or Dungeon Defender... but this one's stand out feature is the ability to combine Gems to make a more powerful defense. Various colors of gem offer different types of special attacks. You can also place new towers next to the path, or trenches directly on it to slow the monsters down.

The game brings a lot of innovation to the other tower defense games: the new gameplay create a lot of strategic depth, and the game adds replay value by keeping track of your high score for each level, allowing you to replay for much higher scores once your wizard has leveled up and is more powerful.

This innovative new tower defense game comes from GameInABottle. Intuitive and enjoyable, GemCraft has a very nice concept and I had a lot of fun playing it: a nice long game that you can spend hours on.

Age of Japan

Age of Japan is an amazing puzzle game, which mix incredible graphics. All 40 game levels are made with Japanese style and show different seasons of the year. A wonderful oriental-style background with changing seasons produces a very relaxing atmosphere.

This game was developed and published by Realore Studios, creators of Mysteryville, Aqua Bubble and the famous Jane's Hotel and Jane's Hotel - Family Hero.

The principle of the gameplay is to swap game pieces to make a horizontal or vertical line of three or more pieces of the same color. You have a choice of two modes. In the Arcade mode you must clear cells in a limited time. So, always keep an eye on the constantly decreasing progress bar and try to clear cells before the bar level reaches the bottom line. In the Puzzle mode, you clear cells at your own pace. The progress bar level here shows how many moves are left.

Your task becomes harder and harder from level to level; it is high time to use numerous original power-ups and special elements that help you to complete a level faster. Indeed, when you are desperately trying to catch up with time in the Arcade mode, a Time bonus may be of great help because it gives additional time to play. You will also discover plenty of advanced bonuses like a Broom bonus which helps you to remove any piece.

To sum up Age of Japan is gorgeous thanks to its graphics elements designed in Japenese style, an entertaining gameplay, and a relaxing Japanese instrumental music of high quality which suits perfectly to the whole atmosphere.

13 days in hell

Can you survive 13 Days in Hell??

13 Days in Hell is an impressive and survival-thriller game.

You signed 13 days challenge pact saying that you are the chosen one for surviving in hell. Do your best to survive attacks of the lost souls. Beware, they will cut your head off if you don't blow them off first.

You start with a standard revolver and get tons of other weapons and ammo as the levels progress.

The damage system is good, basing the damage dealt on the type of enemy, the distance they were shot, where they were shot and the weapon used. The system rewards accuracy, and makes the game a lot more skill dependant than it would be otherwise. The graphics in the game are decent and the music and sound effects are also pretty good.

I recommend you 13 Days in Hell if you are a fan of bloody games. Since easy mode is really easy, you might want to skip straight to medium or hard.
