Blocky

Blocky is a cute Flash puzzle game. The object of the game is to select squares and free all of the smiley faces. Initially, the faces aren’t smiling. To free the smiley faces, you need to make squares. All four corners of the square need to be the same color.

You are racing the clock while you make the squares. You get more time on the clock for every block you get rid of (even the non-smiley ones), but the timer isn't reset on subsequent levels, so don't hang around ;).

The levels start rather simply. The blocks are big and there are only two colors to worry about. As you progress, the game gets rapidly more complex: the blocks become much smaller and more colors (green and yellow) are added to the mix. It becomes harder and harder to make big squares or any squares at all for that matter.

If you like puzzle games, you should check out Blocky. Blocky gives you lots of enjoyment to play and it is an also perfect game for all game users!

Instructions: Use YOUR MOUSE to make the Smilies happy again by clicking and dragging a rectangle with like-colored corners.
Release the mouse button to collect all blocks inside the rectangle. The bigger rectangle you create the more points you get. Good luck!

A lovely creature, named Aquatic lives in a cave near a breathtaking waterfall. But suddenly his cave begins to flood because of the invasion of uncountable aqua bubbles. Help Aquatic to save his home and you get new devoted friend. Launch multicolored bubbles to form a group of three or more similar, thus blowing them up.

Do everything quickly because aqua bubbles collapse with increasing speed. Burst the required number of aqua bubbles to proceed to the next level.

You are not alone in this fight because Aquatic waits at the side and produces sounds of joy, encouragement, panic, and sorrow depending on how well you play.

Aqua Bubble is a fast-paced game with colorful detailed graphics, diverse sound effects and cheerful music. The various modes, great graphics, and that cute animal make Aqua Bubble irresistible to almost any puzzle fan.

In-game options allow set type of bubbles, screen mode, water volume, sound effects, music and gun sensitivity. All the components of the game go well together and create such a charming atmosphere that you won't be able to give it up for a long period.

Tarnation

Tarnation is a clever real-time strategy game : the latest creation of Brad Merritt of Bullet Pattern.

This game was released on December 20th 2007. Even though it has been released for just a short time it has been featured on numerous different flash game sites as ours.

The objective of the game, quite simply, is to defend your water supply from ugly bugs. These bugs are made of tar and will attempt to pollute your water supply. You are given a set number of flowers (which keeps increasing) that you can make red, blue, and yellow. Prevent the bugs from approaching by using your garden seeds as a defense and making different colored flowers with the mouse.

The game is very simple, but the strategy can get rather complex, with decisions to be made on how many flowers you attack the tars with and the direction at which you fire them. Each flower is only able to inflict a certain amount of damage before it dies, so it’s important to figure out just how much flower power you’ve got left. Real excellence comes by releasing only as many flowers as you need.

Instructions: Select the garden seeds by clicking and dragging

Fancy Pants Adventure: World 2

The Fancy Pants Adventure: World 2 is the sequel of the platform adventure game The Fancy Pants Adventure created by Brad Borne.

Twice the size of the original The Fancy Pants Adventure,
The Fancy Pants Adventure: World 2 is a Flash platform game focused on high-speed acrobatics

Brad Borne devised this sequel for two years. Most of the engine from World 1 had to be rewritten when he realized that the more complex levels that he wanted to make kept crashing the buggy code. Adding sliding, almost a story, World 2 was the most ambitious game he had made at the time, and will most likely remain his biggest release... until World 3.

Description: The pants may not look like much to you, but to a stick figure, they're stylin' threads! Jump on spiders and find your way to the next level!

Controls: Arrows move, up enters doors, down ducks, slides, or rolls. Hold down while landing to slide forward. Hold jump while stomping a baddie to jump higher. Hold up or down while wall jumping to change your jump. Press space to pause.

Gold Miner

Gold Miner is a little Flash game released two years ago and this is one of the most addictive games I have ever known.

In Gold Miner, your character is a greedy gold miner who will use his claw and reel to mine gold and other treasures out of the earth. Your claw doesn’t stop swinging back and forth.

Heavy objects like rocks and large gold nuggets are hard to reel up. The bigger the gold nuggets are, the more valuable they are. Avoid rocks if possible as they are almost valueless. Bags contain a random amount of money, a strength power-up or a stick of dynamite. Each level provides a target amount of money that you must collect within 60 seconds. If you don’t meet the goal before the end of the level, the game is over. Your money carries over from on level to the next one.

What really makes the game is the balance between accuracy and greed, with a range of tantalising power-ups available to purchase after each stage, and some interesting changes as you progress through the game.

Two commercial sequels were launched last year, Gold Miner Second Edition and Gold Miner Vegas with improved graphics and more power-ups.

If you haven’t already played Gold Miner, you should really try it.

Have fun!

Filler

Today I am going to introduce you to the very popular game entitled Filler.

In this game your aim is to fill the playing field with large white circles by creating a selection of different size balls. The longer you hold down the mouse button the bigger the balls get. The problem is that you have an ever increasing number of balls to avoid. If it collides with one of the small "atoms" bouncing around, not only will it stop growing, it will disappear completely and you’ll lose a life.

Once you manage to fill up 2/3 of the playing area the level is passed. With each successive level, another atom is added, but you are allowed more circles and more lives to help deal with the increased difficulty.

Filler is an easy but exciting puzzle game. All you will need to play is a steady hand and a logical brain.

Controls:
Click and hold the mouse to start a circle growing

Daily review: Duck, think outside the flock

Hi everybody!

I post today to announce you that from now on I will give you a daily review of a selected Flash game that is available on Pictogame.

To inaugurate this new session, the first reviewed game is about a very ordinary but cute game: Duck, think outside the flock.

After Seen on Screen and Fields of Logic, Duck, think outside the flock is the third collection of very small puzzle games released by Barte Bonte, a game creator from Belgium.

In this game, a selection of colored duck toys are floating leisurely around a pool. You have to 'conduct' the ducks to move as you so wish using 'logic' to decipher each screen and thus to find how pass each level.

Latest levels are very hard. Not impossible, but hard!

I really like this game. The only negative thing in this game is the music. Classic but a little bit... irritating ;)

Controls: Use your mouse-based controls by clicking and dragging.

Are you ready to use your logical skills? Have fun!

Game of the week!

This week, I introduce you to a very nice game, called Power Splash.

Description: In this game Ben 10 is running. You don't control him, but need to make sure he reaches the exit without falling. To do this you need to draw energy lines with your mouse. A line may serve as a floor or as a wall that will turn Ben 10 around. If you make Ben catch a circle with a rhombus he will turn into one of his creatures and will get some new abilities. Collecting circles with + sign gives you bonus

.

Instructions: Use the arrow keys to move and the SPACEBAR to launch an attack!

This game is actually from the American animated television serie: Ben 10.

Ben 10 is created by "Man of Action" (a group consisting of Duncan Rouleau, Joe Casey, Joe Kelly, and Steven T. Seagle), and produced by Cartoon Network Studios.

The show revolves around Ben Tennyson, his cousin Gwen, and their grandfather Max. During the start of their summer camping trip, Ben goes stomping off into the woods after another fight with Gwen, whom he is not happy to have along on the trip, and finds an alien pod on the ground. When he examines it, he finds a mysterious, watch-like device, called the Omnitrix, stored inside. The device attaches permanently to his wrist and gives him the ability to transform into a variety of alien lifeforms, each with their own unique powers, quite similar to DC's Dial H for Hero comic. Although Ben realizes that he has a responsibility to help others with these new abilities at his disposal, he is not above a little superpowered mischief now and then.

I've never seen the serie, but I really love this game, and I love even more the theme song of the show, written by Andy Sturmer and sung by Moxy.

You can listen to it just here:

Who wants to sing with me...? Nobody??
