My Pictogame shot me down

Red alert! Red alert! Snipers have invaded a warehouse full of explosives and threaten to put the place in fire and blood! Prevent them from burning it down and shoot them before they kill you.

A few tips for you if you want to stay alive:
*Use the grenades wisely
*Shoot the medikits to earn lives
*Don't shoot at the hostages (you'll easily recognize them: they don't bear guns!)
*Don't forget to reload your gun regularly! It should be a reflex in this game

So, do you think you've got what it takes to kill Bill? ;)

Create your own game with the Labs

In a post a wrote earlier this month, I introduced you to a new feature called the Pictogame Labs. At that time, the Labs was still at its very beginning and you could only play the games we put.

Now with the update we've made, you can customize it at will by filling in your own parameters
...and even embed it on your blog (or website) with the code you'll find at the bottom of the labs page.

Have fun!

Pictogame moves a step forward in its developpement

We've added a new feature to enable game creators to upload and publish their own flash games on Pictogame.
To be able to do so, you have to log in, go to the "Upload" section (you can't miss it,it's marked as "new") and set all the game info before uploading your flash game.
If you're not skilled enough to handle swf files (like me for instance...) you can still play them in the gallery. You'll find them in the section called "uploaded games".
You'll be eventually rewarded if your games are fun enough. Time for you game creators to express yourself, to share your games and to get popular on Pictogame!

All your game info in the twinkling of an eye

Have you ever wondered how many views your games gathered altogether?
By the way, can you tell how many games you've created or how many comments you've received so far?

All these intriguing details are just one click away from you, in the "My Stuff" section!
It's a really handy page from which you can manage your games or profile details, and even create your Pictogame widget very easily and with various features to customize it at will!
Anyway, it's far much easier and funnier to create it via "My Stuff" than through the tedious (but not that complicated!) process I described you a little while back on a previous post ;)

I shall show you my Pictogame work of art with that feature on this blog soon...

I Kick You turns into gold

Take a dose of I Kick You's first edition, add a new gameplay to it, more challenge and the possibility to play unlimitedly. Mix all this with a good proportion of sheer fun and addictiveness and you'll get I Kick You Gold!

If you fear you don't have enough practise, you can play the solo mode featuring Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, the man himself, to see what the new rules are all about and then move on to the challenge section.

This time there's no more score limit, so the more you kick, the further you'll get and the more points you'll earn!
Start kicking your friends - we all know they deserve it ;) - and join the I Kick You fan club too!

Bye for now, I've got some asses to kick...

Pictogame experiments innovative games

Full of experimentations of all sorts, the Pictogame Labs offers a new way to have fun!
As said in the page presentation, the games will be based on live data feeds like news, pictures, music and games.

For now, two games based on a Flickr open API are available.
The principle is fairly simple: as the pictures appear, you have to spot the odd one out like finding the picture of a boy among some 80 photos...you may tell yourself it's like looking for a needle in a haystack but no worries, it's not that hard!

Of course there will be more games of the like in the future with videos, news, etc. so keep checking the Labs!

PicToGame buzzes

Pictogame partners with Buzz Lemon - a French buzz marketing agency - for the release of "Le Big Livre de l'Incroyable", a collection of weird photos and facts based on Robert Ripley's "Believe it or not" stories.

More concretely, to illustrate some pictures of this book in games, PicToGame provides the website Buzz Lemon launched (which you can see here) with weird funny games.

This one should give you a foretaste of what you can find in that book:

You can view more games there: http://www.pictogame.com/user.php?user=Biglivre
